Our Story
Groove Thing is brought to you by a very small team of passionate folks, who believe that pleasure and music combine
to create profound experiences.
It was invented in Michael’s garage! Four hand-built generations of resonators, as well as fifty different resonator shapes, were tested in over 180 bodies before launch.
Groove Thing debuted publicly in the summer of 2025, with a viral marketing campaign. Our 1-month crowdfund on Kickstarter resulted in $500k in sales to 1500+ backers.

Inventor, Founder, CEO
Michael is a lifelong passionate music lover, audiophile, and technologist. He began his career writing software for NASA Mars missions, then later held leadership positions at Google, Uber, and other Silicon Valley tech companies.
Co-Founder
Elizabeth is an entrepreneur and trained sex educator, with a Masters in Public Health from UC Berkeley. She's the founder of the romance app Amorus, creator of the US' first Sex Tech Industry Mixer series, and an accomplished film producer.
Chief Groove Officer
Host of "Good Sex" on HBO, Caitlin V has a proven two-decade track record in the world of sexual health and education. She holds a Master of Public Health from Indiana University, and is also a Certified Sex Educator and Certified Erotic Blueprint Coach.
